ENTRANCE COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS INTO ENIEG AND ENIET – 2026 SESSION

The Minister of Secondary Education hereby announces the opening of the 2026 Entrance Competitive Examinations into the Government Teacher Training Colleges (ENIEG) and the Government Technical Teacher Training Colleges (ENIET).

ENIEG 2026

Number of Admission Places

A total of 5,040 student teachers will be admitted into Government Teacher Training Colleges (ENIEG), distributed as follows:

• 2,380 places in Classical ENIEGs
• 1,827 places in Bilingual ENIEGs
• 833 places in Specialized ENIEGs

ENIET 2026

Number of Admission Places

A total of 3,900 student teachers will be admitted into Government Technical Teacher Training Colleges (ENIET) across Cameroon.

Examination Dates

• ENIEG: Tuesday, 28 July 2026
• ENIET: Tuesday, 28 July and Wednesday, 29 July 2026

The examinations will be conducted in all Regional Headquarters across Cameroon.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

• Be of Cameroonian nationality;
• Be between 17 and 32 years of age as of 1 January 2026;
• Possess the required qualification for the programme applied for.

Application File

Applicants are generally required to submit:

• A handwritten application addressed to the appropriate authority;
• A certified true copy of the Birth Certificate;
• A certified true copy of the required academic certificate;
• A Medical Certificate;
• A Certificate of Nationality;
• A clean Criminal Record (Bulletin No. 3);
• Two Information Forms;
• Proof of payment of the examination fee (10,000 FCFA).

Duration of Training

Successful candidates will undergo two (2) years of professional teacher training.
