SELECTION OF ONLINE TEACHING PARTNERS AND ORGANISATION OF THE AcadEx ONLINE TUTORING TRAINING PROGRAMME

AcadEx COGNITIVE hereby announces the organisation of its Online Tutoring Training Programme and the selection of educators to participate in the programme as prospective Online Teaching Partners.

The programme shall constitute an official training and preparation framework for educators seeking to join the AcadEx digital teaching community and subsequently serve as AcadEx Tutors and Online Teaching Partners.

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE

The purpose of the AcadEx Online Tutoring Training Programme is to equip selected educators with the knowledge, professional competencies, and practical skills required to deliver effective and quality education within a digital learning environment.

The programme is further intended to establish a competent, professionally responsible, and digitally equipped community of educators capable of contributing to the growth and development of online education through the AcadEx platform.

The training shall also serve as a preparatory stage for the subsequent onboarding of successful participants as AcadEx Tutors and Online Teaching Partners.

ARTICLE 2: TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

The AcadEx Online Tutoring Training Programme shall be conducted online from 17th to 22nd August 2026.

The training shall combine theoretical instruction, practical activities, demonstrations, assignments, and other learning activities deemed necessary by AcadEx.

The programme shall cover, among other areas:

  1. Online teaching methodologies;
  2. Learner engagement and interaction;
  3. Digital classroom management;
  4. Effective communication in online teaching;
  5. Course development and structuring;
  6. Digital instructional practices;
  7. Online learner support and assessment;
  8. Effective delivery of online lessons; and
  9. Use of the AcadEx learning platform.

Participants shall be required to attend and actively participate in the training sessions and complete the requirements established by the training coordinators.

Participants who successfully complete the programme in accordance with the prescribed requirements shall be awarded certificates of successful completion of the AcadEx Online Tutoring Programme.

ARTICLE 3: ONBOARDING AS AcadEx TUTORS

Successful completion of the training programme shall constitute a key requirement for consideration for onboarding as an official AcadEx Tutor and Online Teaching Partner.

Following successful completion and subject to the applicable AcadEx requirements and procedures, eligible participants may be formally integrated into the AcadEx teaching community.

Upon onboarding, tutors shall be expected to perform their functions in accordance with the policies, standards, guidelines, and administrative requirements established by AcadEx.

The status of an AcadEx Tutor and Online Teaching Partner shall carry both teaching responsibilities and opportunities for participation in the development of educational content on the AcadEx platform.

ARTICLE 4: COURSE CREATION AND MANAGEMENT

Approved AcadEx Tutors and Online Teaching Partners shall have the opportunity to create, develop, publish, and manage educational courses within their respective areas of competence and expertise.

Subject to AcadEx’s applicable standards and approval procedures, tutors may:

  1. Develop and structure their own courses;
  2. Prepare and submit course materials;
  3. Publish approved courses on the AcadEx platform;
  4. Manage and update their course content;
  5. Engage and interact with learners enrolled in their courses;
  6. Monitor and support the learning experience of their students; and
  7. Make their academic and professional expertise accessible to a wider learning community.

All courses and educational materials developed under the AcadEx platform shall be required to meet the applicable academic, instructional, technical, and quality standards established by AcadEx.

AcadEx reserves the right to review, approve, modify, suspend, or withdraw any course or educational material that does not meet the required standards or applicable platform policies.

ARTICLE 5: REVENUE-SHARING ARRANGEMENT

AcadEx shall operate a revenue-sharing arrangement for approved courses created by its tutors.

The revenue generated from an approved tutor-created course shall be distributed as follows:

Tutor: 60%

AcadEx: 40%

The tutor shall therefore be entitled to 60% of the revenue generated from the relevant course, subject to the applicable terms, conditions, procedures, and administrative requirements governing the partnership.

AcadEx shall retain 40% of the revenue to support the operation, administration, development, and sustainability of the platform and its educational services.

The revenue-sharing arrangement shall apply to eligible courses created and approved under the AcadEx teaching partnership framework.

ARTICLE 6: PLATFORM MAINTENANCE ALLOCATION

As part of this partnership, 10% of the total revenue generated from a tutor-created course shall be allocated specifically to platform maintenance and technological infrastructure.

This allocation shall contribute towards:

  1. Website and platform hosting;
  2. Technical maintenance;
  3. Platform security;
  4. System administration;
  5. Technological development and upgrades;
  6. Infrastructure improvements; and
  7. Continuous enhancement of the AcadEx digital learning environment.

The remaining portion of AcadEx’s share shall contribute to the administration, operation, development, expansion, and sustainability of the AcadEx platform and its educational activities.

ARTICLE 7: RULES OF ONLINE TEACHING PARTNERS

All AcadEx Online Teaching Partners shall be required to comply with the rules and operational standards governing their engagement with the organisation.

Accordingly, every Online Teaching Partner shall:

  1. Deliver lessons and educational content professionally and responsibly;
  2. Respect scheduled teaching and training commitments;
  3. Provide accurate, relevant, and academically appropriate learning content;
  4. Maintain appropriate communication with learners and AcadEx administration;
  5. Protect confidential information relating to learners, colleagues, courses, and the organisation;
  6. Use AcadEx digital resources and systems responsibly;
  7. Comply with applicable AcadEx academic, technical, administrative, and operational procedures;
  8. Submit required teaching and course materials within prescribed deadlines;
  9. Avoid conduct capable of compromising the reputation or integrity of AcadEx; and
  10. Cooperate with monitoring, evaluation, quality assurance, and administrative procedures established by AcadEx.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in administrative measures, including suspension or termination of the teaching partnership, in accordance with applicable AcadEx procedures.

ARTICLE 8: PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

All Online Teaching Partners shall maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, discipline, respect, and accountability in the discharge of their functions.

Tutors shall conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the values and objectives of AcadEx and shall at all times demonstrate respect towards learners, fellow tutors, administrators, and other members of the AcadEx community.

Online Teaching Partners shall refrain from:

  1. Engaging in inappropriate or unprofessional communication with learners;
  2. Misrepresenting their qualifications, experience, or relationship with AcadEx;
  3. Using AcadEx resources or platforms for unauthorised purposes;
  4. Sharing confidential or restricted information without authorisation;
  5. Publishing unauthorised academic or institutional content;
  6. Engaging in conduct that may bring AcadEx into disrepute; and
  7. Violating applicable AcadEx policies or instructions.

AcadEx reserves the right to take appropriate administrative action where a tutor’s conduct is found to be inconsistent with the organisation’s standards or requirements.

ARTICLE 9: EFFECTIVE DATE

This Administrative Communiqué shall take effect from the date of its publication.

The provisions relating to the AcadEx Online Tutoring Training Programme shall apply specifically to the training scheduled for 17th to 22nd August 2026.

All selected participants shall be deemed to have received formal notice of the programme upon publication of this communiqué through the designated official AcadEx communication channels.
