Biography
Mel is an educator and lecturer with a dedicated career in teaching, mentorship, and academic scholarship across Cameroon and the wider West African region. She holds a Teacher's Training Certificate from the Bilingual Teachers' Training School in Yaounde, and brings hands-on classroom experience teaching English Language, and Project Management where she developed a reputation for structured, child-centered and adult instruction.
Mel served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Dunis University, delivering lectures in project management, proposal writing, and research methods to undergraduate students across campuses in Douala Cameroon, and internationally. She previously lectured in Supply Chain — covering procurement, logistics, transportation, and distribution — at the Pan African Institute for Development – West Africa, teaching both Master's and B.Sc. students.
An active contributor to academic and policy discourse, Mel has presented at multiple international conferences, including as a speaker on entrepreneurship and innovation in education, and as a co-presenter on the professionalisation of educational leadership for sustainable development in Africa. Her co-published work, *"The Professionalisation of Educational Leadership for Sustainable Development in Africa,"* reflects her ongoing commitment to strengthening educational systems and leadership practice across the continent.
