Human Rights Law introduces students to the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to every individual. The course examines the principles of equality, dignity, liberty, justice, and non-discrimination, while exploring the protection of human rights under national, regional, and international legal frameworks. Students will develop an understanding of key human rights instruments, institutions, and mechanisms for protecting and enforcing rights. The course also considers contemporary human rights issues and equips students with the knowledge needed to identify, analyze, and address human rights violations.
